Genius.

I’m pretty sure I lost count of how many times I lost it while making this. That, and I may have ruined the movie.

Please tell me that’s not an iMac on Kim Jong-un’s desk.
You’re using an Apple product to plot nuclear strikes against the U.S.? Cute.

I’m sorry, I thought this was America!

There you go again!
What’s really going on, according to the Maddow Blog:
Nearly a decade ago, the University of Chicago purchased an old apartment building so the property could be used as a parking lot for its medical school. The Commission on Chicago Landmarks considered appeals to preserve the building — Reagan lived in an apartment for less than a year when he was four — but concluded that the site “is not associated with Mr. Reagan during his active and productive years.”
So, the building will be torn down and the University of Chicago Medical Center will have more parking. Why is this politically interesting? It’s not. What does it have to do with Obama? Nothing.
But to hear some on the right tell it, Obama taught at the school, and First Lady Michelle Obama was on the university board, so maybe the president’s library will be on campus, and maybe the library will use this new parking lot.
Which would be outrageous. Or something.
lol. I can imagine Obama wearing a construction hat and grinning as he drives a bulldozer straight through the living room of Reagan’s home.

This is either the greatest or worst television interview that we’ve ever seen. An argument could probably be made for both. More importantly, the victim described in Kai’s story was hospitalized with a broken leg, but is expected to make a full recovery. He’s also choosing to remain unidentified at this time. Thankfully, Kai didn’t make the same choice. (Note: NSFW language, but OMG … just watch it.) source

I have felt negatively about people who seem like they are bragging about drug use in order to be perceived a certain way, but generally I feel more irritated by people who brag about their sobriety.
If I left drug use out of my writing, I would be hiding something about myself so that people wouldn’t judge me.
I also don’t feel like there is anything particularly “cool” about the way I do drugs. Most of the time I am taking various pills alone in my room. I like pills because they aren’t demanding or inconsistent. I usually spend the first half of my drug binges desperately trying to become motivated enough to be productive, but eventually resign to staring at porn for three hours and feeling good about my inevitable death.

Sweet Jesus! I suspect this lifestyle would be a hideous idea for most journalists…though it would be interesting to see what George Will’s column would look like under such conditions.
